John is a retired hardware/embedded firmware engineer. Much of his career was spent designing microcontroller-based hardware systems and writing the firmware to go with them. He has experience teaching technology to both adults as well as younger students. When he can, John enjoys building mechanical wooden models, experimenting with various versions of the Raspberry Pi, and trying to share his love of engineering with others. Although he has never historically been a gamer, his recent work with CreateAccess has gotten him very interested in the exciting world of 3D creation.
